In true grassroots tradition, ABBA Homeschool Academy is the result of our own homeschooling efforts starting in 1987. Doing it on 'our own', and through some trial and error, we learned the ropes to successful homeschooling. Over time we found ourselves helping and encouraging others who wished to homeschool also. As our circle grew, so too did the rewards, finely schooled and academically rounded youth.
After several years of research and thoughtful consideration, we felt the best way to extend our efforts of helping other homeschooling parents was to offer a full-service, K-12 homeschool academy. Through ABBA Homeschool Academy, we can take our support to parents everywhere who are educating children in their homes.
By providing you with a 'start to finish' approach to homeschooling, you can now have the satisfaction of knowing that your child is learning to their fullest potential. "ABBA" This Syriac or Chaldee word is found three times in the New Testament (Mark 14:36; Rom. 8:15; Gal. 4:6), and in each case is followed by its Greek equivalent, which is translated "father." It is a term expressing warm affection and filial confidence. It has no perfect equivalent in our language. It has passed into European languages as an ecclesiastical term, "abbot."
